How to Clean the Filters in an Asko Dryer
Asko dryers are known for their high-quality performance and durability. However, like any other dryer, they require regular maintenance to function at their best. One of the most important aspects of Asko dryer maintenance is cleaning the filters. In this blog post, we will guide you through the process of cleaning the filters in an Asko dryer.
Step 1: Locate the Filters
On Asko dryers, there are two filters that need to be cleaned regularly: the lint filter and the condenser filter. The lint filter is located inside the dryer door, while the condenser filter is located at the bottom of the dryer.
Step 2: Clean the Lint Filter
To clean the lint filter, simply remove it from the dryer door and use your hands or a soft cloth to remove any lint from both sides of the mesh. Wipe off any loose lint into a garbage bin using your hands or a soft cloth. Pull off any stuck-on pieces of lint using your fingertips and throw them out.
Step 3: Clean the Condenser Filter
To clean the condenser filter, press on the button located on the front of the dryer. This will open a door that gives you access to the filter. Undo the latches and remove the whole filter. There’s a sponge behind it which can be washed or vacuumed. Clean all parts of the filter thoroughly.
Step 4: Reassemble and Test
Once you have cleaned both filters, reassemble them and test your dryer to ensure it is working properly. Cleaning your Asko dryer filters regularly will help keep your dryer running efficiently and prevent damage to your machine. By following these simple steps, you can ensure that your Asko dryer continues to provide you with high-quality performance for years to come.
